Grubbs and Gustafsson have many individual and collaborative credits to their names on a wide variety of labels, and they've been in conversation musical and otherwise since the 90s, making two collaborative records released on Blue Chopsticks. In 2018, they formed a trio with Rob Mazurek called The Underflow, making their debut on Blue Chopsticks the following year.
